There have been some exciting developments both on the marketplace and in R&D around context aware technologies. Increasingly, devices can sense location, movement, and other devices. The environment is becoming 'sensor rich'. Yet the way businesses approach context awareness leads to technological and business trajectories that leave more value on the table than commonly realized. This talk, given by an anthropologist, will provide a different way of approaching context and delivering value in a sensor-rich world.
