Ken Rehor

Ken Rehor is an engineering and executive consultant specializing in open telephony standards and is considered one of the industry's foremost experts in speech and telephony systems. He designs voice and multimodal applications that leverage VoiceXML, Call Control XML, VoIP and SOA.
He currently serves as chair of the VoiceXML Forum’s Conformance Committee and co-chair of the Speaker Biometrics Committee. He is an active participant in the W3C and is co-editor of the VoiceXML 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0 specifications.
Mr. Rehor was named one of the industry’s 20 most influential people by "Speech Technology Magazine" for his pioneering work as principal founder of the VoiceXML Forum and is one of the original authors of the VoiceXML specification.
Mr. Rehor has held technical and executive positions at AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent, Nuance and Vocalocity. He is a frequent speaker, published author and holds several speech and telephony system patents.
