Making Music with the World on the iPad and iPhone

Mobile device hold massive potential to connect people in ways we are only beginning to understand. We present our explorations both at Stanford University (Mobile Phone Orchestra) and Smule with our social-musical iPhone experiences (Ocarina, Leaf Trombone: World Stage, and I Am T-Pain) as well as our latest exploration on the iPad. These case studies dive into new musical interactions and experiences that are only possible in a massively-connected mobile computing world, and take a glimpse into one possible social-musical future.
