Arturo Sinclair has been professionally involved in art and technology since 1965. With a strong artistic and technical background and over 25 years of experience in fields such as film, special effects cinematography, animatronics and computer animation, Arturo brings a truly interdisciplinary approach to New Media.
Before joining Digital Worlds, Arturo was Special Effects Supervisor for SZM, the premier broadcast studio in Munich, Germany, where he was in charge of visual effects production for weekly television series and feature films. He designed the virtual reality environment for Paramount’s production “Virtuosity”, starring Denzel Washington and
Rusell Crowe, the first major feature film whose special
effects were designed and produced entirely on a PC platform.
From there he moved on to NY where he became Creative Director for R/GA and Associates, the Academy Award leading-edge motion graphics firm. He was also Vice-President of Creative at Agency.com in NY where he worked for Fortune 500 clients and managed a staff of up to 90 creatives, including designers and art directors, information
architects, copywriters and builders.
Arturo has been involved in the game industry since 1988 as a designer and art director for companies such as Electronic Arts, Brøderbund and Sierra Online among others, bringing his special effects experience into the game world. His current interests include robotics and telepresence and bridging the virtual with the real world.
