CounterPath, President & CEO

As President and CEO of CounterPath, Donovan Jones is
responsible for corporate and operational initiatives. Donovan's
leadership is instrumental in establishing CounterPath as a
technologically innovative and high-growth company with a strong corporate culture. Since joining CounterPath in 2005, Donovan has led the integration of three acquired companies, expanded CounterPath's portfolio to serve the expanding mobile VoIP market and grown the company's global customer base to over 280 service providers and enterprise vendors. Prior to CounterPath, Donovan worked in the investment banking industry and at TELUS, Canada's second largest telecommunications company.
During his time with TELUS, Donovan held increasingly senior positions in corporate development and client solutions where he planned and executed a series of merger, acquisition and divestiture activities in the telecommunications, application development and data network integration space. He also was responsible for a $200M business unit focused on selling, implementing and managing enterprise voice, data and IP infrastructure. In January of 2007, Donovan was awarded a
regional top 40 under 40 award recognizing British Columbia's
"brightest young business stars" under the age of 40. Donovan holds an MBA from the University of Calgary and an Economics degree from the University of Alberta.
