Julia Tsao
yU+co/Fair Enough, Experience Designer/Partner and Creative Director

Julia Tsao is a user experience designer, design researcher and interactive tinkerer. She is a recent MFA graduate of the Art Center College of Design's Media Design Program, where she did her graduate thesis research on the social implications of ubiquitous computing, augmented reality, and an increasingly networked world on our daily lives. Her graduate thesis project, "Curious Displays," has been featured on Fast Company, Wired, Gizmodo, Makezine, and Creativity, and creates an experiential glimpse into the future of distributed and networked technology and communication.
Julia is currently at yU+co in Hollywood, CA heading up the company's Experiential Design discipline, creating tangible and explorative brand experiences for a wide variety of clients from entertainment to advertising. She also is partner and creative director of her own design consultancy, Fair Enough, based in Los Angeles, CA. Her prior experience was based primarily in product development, and includes work at IDEO, T-Mobile, Amalgam, and Replug. Julia holds an BA from UCLA in History (science and technology), and a MFA in Media Design from Art Center College of Design.
