Michael Gervautz

Michael Gervautz is a Director of Business Development in the Corporate Research & Development group at Qualcomm Inc. He was previously the Founder and Managing Director of Imagination Computer Services, a company that developed interactive user experiences based on various sensor technologies, augmented reality and computer vision/computer graphics. Prior to that, Michael was an Associate Professor at the Institute for Computer Graphics at the University of Technology Vienna, where he led advanced research in virtual and augmented reality, realistic image synthesis, multimedia in education and computer animation. Michael studied Computer Science at the University of Technology in Vienna where he received his M.Sc. and PhD degrees. He is still a senior lecturer there.
